A glass and metal rooftop pavilion atop Boeing’s regional headquarters provides an executive office center with views of the flight path to Reagan National Airport. Its dynamic, wing-shaped roofs express flight to reflect Boeing’s mission as an aerospace giant. A former empty sunken plaza adjacent to the office building is replaced with a state-of-the-art, secure 200-seat auditorium and conference center. The addition incorporates light monitors reminiscent of early airplane hangars to supply indirect north light to the interior.
